The Projects Management Office resources, plans and governs projects for Siemens Mobility Rolling Stock Customer Services in the UK. These projects include modification and upgrades, overhauls, business transformations, incident repairs. The PMO also have a specialised Service Excellence team who provide lean and efficient operating frameworks to the railway depots to ensure value is embedded and maintained in all processes and procedures across the business.
Siemens Mobility Ltd help to solve the problems of increasing traffic by working with railway operators to improve the capacity, punctuality and security of their systems and to ensure that the carbon footprint produced by transportation is kept to a minimum. As part of our Mobility division, you will be part of a team helping to design solutions and systems which have a real impact on the real world.

- Understand the PM@Siemens methodology and role of Project Governance within the Project Management Office.
- Manage the Project Governance Assurance Tool working with Project Managers to ensure projects are reported accurately and consistently.
- Prepare regular status reporting for key stakeholders.
- Review project documentation highlighting gaps and providing a summary of observations to PMO Governance Manager.
- Manage the key project management template archive and associated documentation with an aim to drive gold standard project management.
- Work with the Quality Assurance team to map out PMO processes.
- Microsoft Applications experience is essential (specifically Power BI and Power Apps or similar).
We are seeking innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following;
- Achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in Project Management, Business or related degree
- Logical thinking, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
- Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
