Project Leader – Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, East Leake

Are you a passionate Engineer or Materials Scientist ready to innovate and make an impact? Saint Gobain Interior Solutions is looking for a dynamic Project Leader to join our Product Optimisation team based at our East Leake site in Loughborough.

About The Role

As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products, processes, and solutions to meet customer needs through collaborative working and continuous improvement.

You’ll always maintain high level of quality of what we do and how we do it, as required by our customer through the business, being demanding of project teams to achieve difficult objectives, to deliver projects, to take on real challenges and to explore unknown domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects from conception to completion, ensuring customer-centric solutions and on-time delivery.
• Manage project teams effectively, securing the necessary capabilities and resources.
• Maintain high-quality standards in project execution, problem-solving, and innovation.
• Conduct practical product testing,
• Analyse data from tests and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure project success.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  
  

About You,

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or any other science discipline.
• Experience leading projects in product development, R&D, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to conduct practical testing and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A results-focused mindset with the ability to drive improvements and meet deadlines.
