How will you make an impact in this role?


This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Global Deal Implementation (GDI) team in Partner Business Solutions (PBS).

The PBS organization is a team of payment professionals responsible for the operational relationships with our GNS partners across the world, within which GDI play a key role in deployment of the associated commercial terms.


This newly created position, reporting directly to the Manager Risk and Control GDI, will play a critical role to support the design, ownership and management of Processes, Risks and Controls relating to GDI activities. The role will be heavily focused on enabling a strong risk management framework for the team.

The incumbent will work closely with GMNS Business, external Bank partners and multiple other internal teams including, but not limited to, Operations, Legal, Treasury, Technologies, Finance, and Controllership.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Support the relevant Project Guardian workstreams for GDI
  • Create, refresh and maintain Standard Operating Procedures across GDI’s financial deployment activities
  • Creating, refresh and maintain Process Maps for such processes
  • Support the transition from PRSAs to RCSAs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory frameworks, internal policies and industry standards
  • Conduct regular control testing. Identify key risks and build/refresh robust controls to mitigate those risks
  • Produce accurate and timely control reports and monitoring of open OREs
  • Identify common ORE root causes; launch and lead initiatives to address identified root causes and implement process improvements
  • Support GDI efforts in relevant IAG audits as needed


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in compliance, control management or internal audit preferable
  • Strong project management experience with ability to influence and drive change
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and positive critical thinking
  • Proven ability to understand and articulate complex end to end processes
  • Output oriented mindset and working well under pressure to execute at pace
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident presenting to senior management and creating compelling messaging to drive change
  • Strong relationship management skills across stakeholders of all levels
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to a dynamic and changing environment. Ability to re-focus according to business wide strategic priorities
