Programme & Portfolio Manager
FOOTASYLUM
Date: 1 week ago
City: Rochdale
Contract type: Full time
Description
We’re looking for a Programme Manager to join our Digital team here at Footasylum to help our internal and external development teams deliver value to the business and our customers.
The Digital Team’s goals are to enable our omnichannel vision by working with internal systems and third-party suppliers, to deliver seamless internal operations, and an outstanding digital experience for our customers.
As a Programme Manager, you will join our Digital department and help create, schedule, and communicate our digital portfolio. You will manage the digital roadmap, ensuring the right governance and tracking is in place to ensure projects are running on time and to scope.
In addition to overseeing the digital roadmap, you will also manage some key projects within the business, with the support of business stakeholders, product managers and developers you will lead the projects end to end delivery.
You’ll be working with the multi-disciplinary Digital team in a fast-paced environment. The team itself is relatively small, you will have between 1-3 project managers working for you plus a BA and you will be working alongside Product Managers and technical teams to deliver change.
About You
Within your current role you’ll have demonstrated excellent leadership, helping to guide teams to successful delivery while working to enable and support in any way the team requires.
You’ll be a self-starter, who can manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, bringing a positive, can-do attitude in your approach, looking for solutions where problems may present themselves.
You’ll be highly organised and able to implement governance across teams to help bring control and certainty to our delivery team.
You will be proactive at engaging stakeholders and will be comfortable having conversations about scope and delivery timescales with senior members of the organisation.
Where necessary you will be comfortable organising and facilitating workshops to share knowledge and resolve issues.
Why Footasylum?
We’ve been going through a digital transformation, changing how we deliver value to our business. A big part of this change is fostering a culture of being open and honest, collaborating, having fun and enabling psychological safety.
Diversity
We recognise and value the importance of diversity to help make sure we have lots of different perspectives when we are building products and services. We know that this will help us build useful and accessible things which our customers will love. This is great news for our business. Diversity for us is also, importantly, about building happy teams full of people that want to learn and want to be inspired by each other and our different experiences and backgrounds.
Recruitment Process
We’ll help make the interview process as transparent and stress-free as possible.
We review applications individually, and if we feel you would be a good fit, we’ll invite you for a call or Teams video for an informal chat about the role and to see if we’re a good fit for you.
We value open and honest conversations and collaboration, allowing you to learn about our work in an informal and friendly environment. We want to know about you and why you feel this is your opportunity.
Please note this is not a remote role, and we expect that you will be able to attend Head Office in a hybrid way in Greater Manchester.
