Programme Manager - Water Supply / Wastewater Networks

Are you a natural leader with experience delivering multiple projects? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join our team as a Programme Manager.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of group-wide programmes, as well as defining and maintaining the ‘order book' for projects, ensuring they align with business strategy and development roadmaps.

The portfolio could include storm overflow improvement projects, supply mains projects and sewerage flooding projects.

As Programme Manager you will:

• deliver the programme through the management of customers, suppliers and resources
• liaise with business sponsors to develop the product roadmaps to address business aspirations
• ensure the delivery of multiple projects to the agreed scope, quality, schedule and budget while adhering to all internal processes.

What you'll need

You will have extensive experience delivering solutions across various industries, while also planning and leading change management within a structured project management function.

It would be valuable if you have a good understanding of the water industry.

You will also need:

• technical discipline (preferred)
• strong people management skills
• the ability to influence senior people and explain complex technical matters in simple and understandable terms
• to be an efficient problem solver and have the capability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving targets
• good experience using standard Microsoft Office products.
