Interested in taking on a high profile role that will drive improved outcomes for cancer patients? Have a passion for delivering projects that could help us address the big challenges facing cancer services in NHS Scotland?
This role will provide the post-holder with a unique opportunity to manage high profile programmes to diagnose cancer earlier and faster in Scotland.
The post-holder will be comfortable working in close collaboration with a wide range of key partners and stakeholders, in both national and territorial Boards. They will also be able to apply strong project management skills and have an ability to communicate a clear vision for change.
The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to secure clinical and operational engagement and drive safe, effective and person centred improvements in care. They will be exhibit a demonstrable in-depth understanding of programme management and improvement methodologies, with recognised expertise in practical application. The ability to work within a political context, a fast pace environment, managing deadlines and being responsive to changing priorities is essential.
