What You’ll Do As a Programme Analyst

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Own the preparation and documentation of programme governance outputs, including detailed minutes, decision logs, and action tracking for executive audiences.
  • Lead the coordination of multiple workstreams and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment to timelines, deliverables, and interdependencies.
  • Analyse progress and inputs across multiple workstreams to identify trends, risks and opportunities and deliver concise, actionable summaries to the Project Delivery Lead to support informed decision-making.
  • Drive the organisation of key mapping, validation, and design sessions, ensuring objectives, logistics, and outputs are managed to a high standard.
  • Oversee calendar management for programme-wide stakeholder engagements, resolving conflicts and optimising scheduling for efficiency and impact.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Manager to monitor and help assess change impacts, escalating emerging issues and supporting mitigation planning.
  • Maintain and actively manage the programme roadmap, tracking milestones, key dates, and deadlines across all phases.
  • Update and maintain the risk register and programme budget records, supporting monthly reporting and governance activities.
  • Act as custodian of the dependency register, ensuring visibility of critical path items and enabling informed decision-making.
  • Provide tactical support for stakeholder communications, governance packs, and status reporting to senior leadership.

What You’ll Bring

  • Substantial experience in a project or programme coordination role, ideally within a large or global organisation.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments with confidence and professionalism.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and multitasking skills with a track record of delivering under pressure.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with project tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent is a plus.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Comfortable working autonomously with a high degree of initiative.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting technology, transformation, or HR-related programmes.
  • Familiarity with budget tracking or project finance processes.
  • Exposure to, or certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
