What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate manufacturing machinery in line with procedures
- Take a proactive approach to Health & Safety
- Support the business in meeting statutory duties
- Achieve line/plant targets and minimise waste
- Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards
- Perform basic routine maintenance (mechanical aptitude essential)
- Identify and escalate quality concerns
- Troubleshoot faults and take corrective action
- Be flexible with work arrangements
- Experience in production machinery and technical processing (ideally in food manufacturing)
- Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety knowledge
- Mechanical Handling Equipment experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude (essential)
- Team player with good communication skills
