Your Role: Key Responsibilities

As Production Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety Regulations, Quality Assurance, and Environmental Procedures
- Leading and coaching operational shift teams to ensure accurate reporting and handling of equipment defects and alarms
- Managing site production costs, including consumables, utility usage, reagents, and waste disposal
- Driving a continuous improvement culture using KPIs and lean initiatives
- Ensuring seamless execution and communication of production and logistics plans
- Acting as a role model and leader, motivating teams across all levels
- Degree-level education or extensive relevant experience in chemical or process industries
- NEBOSH Process Safety Certificate or recognized Health & Safety qualification preferrred
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a chemical industry setting (ideally CoMAH regulated)
- At least 4 years of experience leading teams in an operational environment
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and team development
- Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making
