The role:

Our Production team ensures the smooth processing of customer letters. You will be responsible for using high speed machinery to print, fulfil and handover our letters to Royal Mail.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate printers, guillotines and folder inserters, doing quality checks as you go.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to track progress.
  • Troubleshoot basic issues, knowing when to escalate to your supervisor.
  • Light cleaning duties and machine maintenance to maintain a tidy workspace.
  • Work in line with Postworks quality and information security policies

Must haves:

  • Teamwork: You've got to work well with others and be able to communicate effectively.
  • Attention to detail: You’ll be the person that can spot when something looks off
  • Technical skill: You'll need to know how to operate some of our machines, but don't worry, we'll train you.
  • Problem-solving: Sometimes things don't go as planned; you'll need to be able to follow a process to get back up and running.
  • Reliability: Being consistent and reliable helps everyone on the team
  • Physical fitness for manual work - you’ll be on your feet for most of the day.

Due to the nature of this job, the successful candidate will be subject to a background and DBS check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.60-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
