We are looking for a Product Owner to join our IT team in Milton Keynes. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product roadmap to enhance our marketing strategies and tools. You will act as a bridge between the marketing teams and the development teams, ensuring that our products meet user needs and align with our marketing objectives. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and oversee the product lifecycle from conception to launch.
Our Technology Team is accountable for all technology and systems across the group, including a number of internally built applications as well as supplier provided solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to understand their challenges & gather objectives
- Define and maintain a clear product strategy and roadmap that aligns with broader business goals and customer needs
- Gather and document epics, features and user stories with the support of business analysts and prioritize the backlog
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring that information is clear, concise, and relevant
- Work with cross-functional teams including engineers, delivery managers, 3rd party vendors and marketers to deliver high-quality products
- Ensure that products meet user experience standards and marketing strategies
- Measure success and adjust priorities as needed to achieve strategic objectives
- Conduct user research, market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions
- Analyse product performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Facilitate product demos and user acceptance testing activities
- Support various agile ceremonies, such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical resources
- Act as a coach for Business Analysts in the team
- Preferably educated to graduate level with a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field
- Proven experience working as a product owner or similar role
- Experience in digital marketing strategies and tools (g. lead management, email marketing, CRM, automation, analytics, conversion funnel)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product management practices
- Knowledge of agile planning tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
