About Aspora

Aspora is building a Financial Services platform for immigrants around the world. We are backed by influential venture capitalists like Sequoia Capital, Hummingbird Ventures, Y Combinator, Global Founders Capital, Soma Capital, and are on a mission to simplify global banking as easily as booking an Uber.

We’re first taking on the Indian diaspora - the largest and wealthiest immigrant population. 15 million Non-Resident Indians hold over $1.5T in wealth of which $500B is back in India. They remit $125B back every year and account for 25% of all real estate purchases in India. Yet, the banking experiences of these NRIs are archaic. We’re building a new age platform to service these NRIs with cross border money movement.

We are a team of 40 that works with the intensity and the agility of a sports team. With innovation, hustle, and collaboration at our core, we aim to build better banking for all immigrants around the world. Discover more about our work, our ethos, and our vision on our website, Aspora

About The Role

Aspora is building a new category—modern diaspora banking—and we’re looking for a product marketer who can help define it from the ground up. You’ll be the voice of our product to the world, translating complex financial solutions into clear, compelling narratives that speak to the 50M+ global diaspora audience we serve.

This is a high-ownership IC role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, brand, and customer insight. You’ll work closely with product, design, and growth to shape how we’re perceived—and remembered.

What You’ll Own

  • Develop product positioning and messaging frameworks for new and existing offerings
  • Translate technical features into crisp, value-driven messaging for our customers

  • Drive customer insight through market research, competitive analysis, and user interviews
  • Collaborate with product & growth teams to influence roadmaps and build differentiated narratives
  • Ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints—from acquisition to activation to retention

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, content, or growth at a fast-paced startup
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills—clarity is your superpower
  • Experience with GTM planning, feature launches, and building messaging hierarchies
  • Analytical and insight-driven—you can back intuition with data
  • Able to grasp product nuance and user psychology to find the “why it matters”
  • Self-starter with high ownership and ability to work cross-functionally

Bonus Points

  • Fintech or financial services background
  • Experience with diaspora audiences or global user bases
  • Previously launched new product categories
  • Startup or early-stage experience

Interview Process

  • Exploratory Call (30 mins) – with recruiter
  • Resume & Skill Deep Dive (60 mins) – with Hiring Manager team
  • Case Assignment + Review (90 mins) – focusing on positioning, clarity, and GTM thinking
  • Bar-Raiser Round (30 mins) – with founder
