About The Role

Kelvatek provide a range of hardware, software & data products to Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) across UK and Ireland. We are part of Camlin Group, a global technology leader that operates with the vision of bringing revolutionary products to life for a wide range of industries, including power and rail, and has interests in several R&D projects in a variety of scientific sectors.

To support continued growth and success we are hiring an entry level Product Manager to focus on daily operations and product enablement. Working together with experienced colleagues, the successful candidate will take an active role in validating and communicating new product features to both internal and external stakeholders. Monitor user experience and facilitate their adoption. You will also work collaboratively to identify new requirements and assist in delivery of product improvements.

It's a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in product management within the utilities sector and grow your skills in strategy, project and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Senior Product Managers and Product Owners in documenting new features each quarter.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to define feature scope and effort estimations.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to execute on new features and perform acceptance testing.
  • Coordinate external stakeholders release plans and deployment schedules.
  • Aid the service support teams and lead incident response and management.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders and industry to communicate product capabilities and best practice.
  • Provide insights into product usage to help identify features that could be improved or deprecated.
  • Proactively engage with service support teams to identify areas where product supportability and implementation can be improved.

About you:

  • You aspire to become a product manager and have a background in software engineering.
  • You are technically minded, with a passion for solving complex issues.
  • You are customer focused and eager to learn about what features would drive more value for our customers.
  • You are proactive and can work independently.
  • You are customer focused and empathetic.
  • You have good communication skills and are comfortable and confident when speaking to stakeholders.
  • You possess strong analytical skills paired with a data-driven mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a technical role and familiarity with cloud-based (SaaS) applications are a must have.
  • Experience working with modern cloud-based web applications and platforms, Salesforce and Atlassian based products preferable.
  • Prior experience in software engineering or service delivery
  • Experience using a product analytics tool is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree
