NHS Professionals (NHSP) is the market leader in managed flexible worker solutions for the NHS. We work with more than 140 Trusts and healthcare organisations across England to reduce their reliance on expensive agencies by helping them build their own staff banks.
Our business was founded on providing flexible workers into nursing and midwifery roles - now we specialise in much more. We have a large community of healthcare professionals, including general and specialist nurses, doctors, midwives, and non-clinical staff.
Skills/Responsibilities:
We're looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about customer experience, has a natural curiosity and enjoys a challenge. You'll be working with one of our business areas identifying and clarifying their needs to meet the strategic goals. It will also involve leading improvements to the technology used by clients (Nurses, Doctors and NHS Trust staff) and colleagues.

Uniquely we are owned by the Department of Health and Social Care and we therefore reinvest any surplus we make directly back into the NHS.

Responsibilities Include:
- Translate customers’ core experience needs and business requirements to create a vision and product strategy for your cross functional area, making sure they stand out and provide commercial benefits.
- Managing and keeping stakeholders informed at all levels across Product, Technology, Delivery, Marketing, Commercial and Legal to support the Product vision and strategy.
- Prioritise the development backlog through Risk, Impact, Confidence and Effort assessment.
- Manage the commercial success of the product, tracking product performance against KPIs.
- Develop expert working knowledge of the product(s) and therefore be a point of reference and information.
To be successful in this post you will need to
- Have experience in Product Management
- Proven expertise in product management with a strong sense of what makes a great product and how to balance user experience with business goals
- Ability to seek out and deal with ambiguous, unstructured challenges, quick to find opportunities and shape strategies and resources around them as an individual contributor.
- Excellent communicator, skilled at collaborating with stakeholders at all levels and influencing decisions so as to act as a change agent.
- Ability to work independently with tight and evolving deadlines
- This is not a technical role but ability to work with the IT team, drawing on their knowledge and skills, will be important.
- Desirable: Experience of Salesforce platforms.
