Product Design Engineer II

Location: London (Hybrid/Remote)

SharkNinja are hiring a Product Design Engineer II to join their Ninja New Product Development team in London. You will work on the next generation of household and kitchen products, collaborating with global teams across the UK, US and China to bring new ideas from concept to market.

What you will do

• Develop new concepts and technologies for upcoming Ninja products
• Design mechanical components, assemblies and mechanisms that meet functional and manufacturing requirements
• Own product elements from concept, CAD and prototyping through to testing and validation
• Conduct design studies and solve technical and consumer problems using sound engineering principles
• Build and test prototypes, analyse performance and iterate quickly
• Work with global teams to protect design intent through tooling and manufacturing
• Take part in design reviews and contribute ideas and solutions
• Continually improve product performance, quality and user value

What you will need

• Degree in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 2 to 4 years experience in mechanical or product design
• Experience in consumer products or household appliances is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of plastics and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo
• Hands-on approach to prototyping and problem solving
• Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Experience of launched products in market is beneficial
