About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer to support our consumables manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong focus on clean room environments, ensuring compliance with quality standards and driving continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in clean room processes and expertise in optimizing manufacturing workflows.

Primary responsibilities for this role include:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for consumables, with a focus on operations in clean room environments.
  • Ensure clean room processes meet regulatory and quality standards, including GMP requirements.
  • Monitor and control environmental conditions within clean room spaces to maintain compliance.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for production issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions for all our consumables portfolio
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to facilitate product development and transfer to manufacturing.
  • Conduct risk assessments and validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for clean room equipment and processes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including clean room SOPs, SOP work instructions, and training materials for goods in QC as well as operators training.
  • Train production staff on clean room protocols, gowning procedures, and process best practices.
  • Train production staff on our all SOPs
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment to improve clean room efficiency and production capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in operations, leveraging Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

We are ideally looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial) or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in process engineering within clean room manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with clean room classifications, air handling systems, and particle control.
  • Strong understanding of clean room protocols, including gowning, material handling, and contamination prevention.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14644 clean room standards and environmental monitoring practices.
  • Proficiency in process simulation and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • We anticipate a salary between £40,000 and £50,000 for this role, depending on the candidate's experience.
