As Process Controller you will be responsible for the operation of all Wastewater Treatment Assets, to achieve regulatory, financial, customer and key business performance targets.
Ensuring all assets are operated in line with quality and environmental management systems, to deliver regulatory compliance OPA and serviceability standards. To include but not limited to UWWTD, Environmental Permits, UV, WRA, Flow, and HACCP.

As Process Controller you will be responsible for the operation of all Wastewater Treatment Assets, to achieve regulatory, financial, customer and key business performance targets.
Ensuring all assets are operated in line with quality and environmental management systems, to deliver regulatory compliance OPA and serviceability standards. To include but not limited to UWWTD, Environmental Permits, UV, WRA, Flow, and HACCP.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Undertake operational activities on a variety of Wastewater Treatment Processes to ensure compliance with Environmental Regulations and key business performance targets
- Produce, maintain and comply with site operational and contingency plans (ie. quality works and environmental management systems).
- To be part of a local team of Operators, Process Controllers & Field Service Engineers.
- To interface closely on a daily basis with Integrated Planning Teams and Field Service Engineers to ensure the delivery of operational and maintenance activities on treatment assets.
- Carry out work as scheduled by Work Planning.
- Identify reactive and proactive work orders.
- Record and update electronic work orders on the corporate system.
- To achieve and maintain a level of knowledge and skills on Wastewater Treatment processes as determined by the Wastewater Production Manager and the wider business.
- Knowledge of and practical experience working with Wastewater Treatment assets and processes to effectively monitor and control the asset base.
- A good understanding of Environmental Regulation in the Wastewater Industry is required to achieve compliance with product quality and procedural data reporting requirements.
- Good communication and team working skills across the Operations team and with interfacing teams including Maintenance, Work Planning and Catchment teams.
- A good level of computer literacy is required to generate site reports, prepare action plans, report work order status and to communicate electronically with colleagues and the Treatment Manager.

- GCSE or equivalent A - C
- Driving license
