We're looking for a talented Operations Manager / Principal Engineer who has Manufacturing Technology / Industrialisation experience to work with a Global defence company in establishing production and facility improvements.
We want to recruit someone with the necessary experience, clear analytical thinking, strong stakeholder management skills and demonstrable experience of delivering change using technology and soft skills.

Responsibilities
- You will be joining a team where every member has scope to influence change, establishing and owning all requirements for a new Production Line Operating Model for existing and new facilities
- While retaining appreciation for the current way of work within the production line, you will be able to bring forward fresh, innovative ideas for Process Improvement
- This will see you Deploying new industrial capabilities and technologies and becoming Future Subject Matter Experts for areas throughout the new business
- Using your knowledge and expertise to support business cases for operations improvements
- Building and managing relationships with facility owners and Contractors, Networking / Interfacing cross function
- HNC with extensive Engineering / Operations experience or Appropriate Degree with some Operations experience
- Stakeholder & people management
- Creation of business cases
- Risk Management
- Advanced MS Excel ability and working knowledge of MS office tools
- Self-management, the ability to plan and organise your work to align with the client’s plan or milestone dates, by setting quantified goals and working to defined standards .
- Multi-industry and best practice experience
- Technical readiness Levels
- Facility and site management / process mapping
- Relevant Business Analysis experience
- Problem investigation and operational excellence
- To be flexible to travel to, and work at, client site
- SC Clearance
