Make Spaces Work for Everyone – Join Us as an Inclusive Design Specialist
At Jacobs, we believe that truly great places are those that welcome everyone. Our Inclusive Design team combines technical expertise, engineering insight, and social understanding to create environments that are not only accessible, but empowering — places where people of all backgrounds can thrive.
We’re currently seeking an experienced Inclusive Design professional to join our Cities & Places team in the UK, contributing to a wide range of transformative projects both locally and globally. This is an opportunity to go beyond compliance and minimum standards — to challenge norms, push boundaries, and redefine what inclusive design means in practice.
As part of our team, you’ll be a driving force for change. You’ll help shape spaces that reflect the needs of diverse populations, informed by data, research, and lived experience. Your work will directly impact how people of different ages, genders, identities, abilities, faiths, and cultures interact with the built environment — ensuring that every project is not only functional, but truly inclusive.
This is more than a technical role. It’s a chance to lead innovation, influence design thinking, and deliver future-proofed solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives.
