Principal Azure Architect

What you'll be doing:
The Principal Azure Architect will be a key member of the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) team, responsible for driving high technical standards, operational excellence, and innovation across the business.
This role involves designing, implementing and governing Azure solutions that align with best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring that DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code are at the forefront of service delivery.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Undertake and lead the research and development of products and features, feeding new features into the Product Team for productization and technical delivery teams for adoption
- Design and maintain cloud architectures and best practices, with scale and security at the forefront of all design
- Act in a consultative role to the business, providing advice and guidance based on specialism
- Work closely with the Product Team, building out new service descriptions and ensuring new products are architected correctly
- Design solutions aligned with frameworks and regulatory requirements such as CIS, NIST, and ISO27001
We want to hear from you if you:
- Are a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Have significant experience in IT, especially with Microsoft Azure.
- Have a very strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure-as-Code, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and the overlap into other technologies.
- Understand project management methodologies and tools, including Waterfall and/or Agile.
- Have strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to work on multiple initiatives and tasks simultaneously.
