Primavera P6 Planner

Base Location: Glasgow, Aberdeen, Perth or Oban.

Salary: £42,600 - £64,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible Working options available.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Primavera P6 Planner to work within the SSEN Distribution Large Capital Delivery team. Large Capital Delivery (LCD) is responsible for delivering a portfolio of large capital projects and programmes across the electricity distribution network in the SEPD and SHEPD licence areas, each valued between £2.5m and £100m.

You will

• Develop and manage project plans within Distribution, including the creation and oversight of detailed programmes. Bring hands-on experience in planning and scheduling to ensure effective execution.
• Deliver comprehensive planning support throughout the entire project lifecycle using Primavera P6.
• Produce and maintain client perspective programmes that support the project work processes, milestones and deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, delivery partners, site management, and commercial teams to accurately track and report project progress throughout all phases.
• Provide reporting and feedback to project and business group management that are appropriate to the project needs and the client requirements.
  
  

You have

• Experience with Primavera P6 on large capital projects, ideally within electricity, water, gas, or transport infrastructure sectors.
• Desirable awareness of NEC3 Contract management, but not essential.
• Demonstrable ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• A working knowledge of Standard Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
• A can-do attitude focused on contributing to a positive working environment.
  
  

The successful candidate would be expected to travel between different SSE offices/project sites, with the occasional overnight stay. Therefore, a driving licence is required.
