The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Primavera P6 Planner to work within the SSEN Distribution Large Capital Delivery team. Large Capital Delivery (LCD) is responsible for delivering a portfolio of large capital projects and programmes across the electricity distribution network in the SEPD and SHEPD licence areas, each valued between £2.5m and £100m.

You will
- Develop and manage project plans within Distribution, including the creation and oversight of detailed programmes. Bring hands-on experience in planning and scheduling to ensure effective execution.
- Deliver comprehensive planning support throughout the entire project lifecycle using Primavera P6.
- Produce and maintain client perspective programmes that support the project work processes, milestones and deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, delivery partners, site management, and commercial teams to accurately track and report project progress throughout all phases.
- Provide reporting and feedback to project and business group management that are appropriate to the project needs and the client requirements.
- Experience with Primavera P6 on large capital projects, ideally within electricity, water, gas, or transport infrastructure sectors.
- Desirable awareness of NEC3 Contract management, but not essential.
- Demonstrable ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A working knowledge of Standard Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
- A can-do attitude focused on contributing to a positive working environment.
