Preferred Customer Associate

From Nottingham, UK, you'll take ownership of customer queries – from first contact through to resolution. Offering proactive support, you’ll build trust with different stakeholders and deliver exceptional results.
Your Responsibilities
Delivering a premium experience to our most valued clients, we’re searching for someone with pride in resolving challenges and excellent communication skills who can:
- Respond to incoming calls and emails from customers about tracking, billing, claims, brokerage, and other UPS services
- Resolve customer issues by following up with outbound calls or emails as needed
- Take full ownership of each query, keeping customers informed with regular updates until the issue is resolved
- Use internal systems to accurately record all customer interactions and activity
- Notify customers of any service disruptions that could affect delivery or collection
- Help customers choose the right UPS solution for their specific business needs
- Manage and resolve multiple complex issues efficiently and professionally
To succeed, you'll need strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset and the ability to solve problems both efficiently and professionally, as well as:
- Clear and confident communication skills, both spoken and written
- Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels, inside and outside the company
- Friendly, professional, and proactive when dealing with others and able to show genuine enthusiasm to help customers
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on finding practical solutions
- Skilled at understanding customer needs and resolving issues quickly and effectively
- Good time management, with the ability to follow up and close queries on time
- High school diploma, GED or International equivalent required
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
