Pre-Analytic Service provides the operational leadership for Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Phlebotomy and specimen reception services. It cover UHCW NHS Trust including Rugby St Cross, GEH NHS Trust, South Warwick Foundation Trust including Stratford Hospital. This post is also responsible for the primary care phlebotomy for Coventry and Warwickshire.
The post is supported by the Haematology Network Manager, Senior Pathology Manager for Blood sciences and the Modern Matrons for Diagnostics.

Main duties including ensuring the operational safety of the Pre -Analytic service ensuring we have an active recruitment and retention process including staff development and succession planning.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the service meets all the operational and quality key performance indicators.
To work with stakeholders to develop and improve our service and monitor and improve patient experience.
The role will also require the successfully to look at future developments for the service such as developing our electronic systems. Work in multi-disciplinary within pathology and with our primary and secondary care stake holders.
