Porters are part of the Facilities department providing 24 hour cover 7 days a week for all wards and departments on the Lincoln County Hospital Site.
This is a varied and interesting post involving the movement of materials and patients around all departments on the site.
General Portering Duties Will Include
have good communication skills
have a flexible and adaptable approach to prioritise workload
have good customer service skills
be friendly and approachable
be reliable with good time management
have the ability to work in a physical environment
have the ability to work individually and as part of a team
have awareness of Infection Prevention and Control practices within a healthcare environment
be passionate about delivering a high quality service
Previous portering experience is desirable though full training will be given. Uniform and PPE will be provided.
