About The Role
We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and detail-driven Transformation PMO Lead to establish and operate a Project Management Office (PMO) that underpins Calor’s Elevate transformation programme.
This is a pivotal role in ensuring consistency, governance, and visibility across our portfolio of projects, both within Calor and across our global parent company, SHV. You’ll play a key part in shaping how we deliver transformation, embedding strong governance and reporting processes that enable informed decision-making and successful delivery.
You’ll have oversight of around 45 projects per year, some of which involve working with our parent company SHV to govern the portfolio, giving this role a unique global aspect and exposure across many business areas.

About The Role
We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and detail-driven Transformation PMO Lead to establish and operate a Project Management Office (PMO) that underpins Calor’s Elevate transformation programme.

You’ll play a key part in shaping how we deliver transformation, embedding strong governance and reporting processes that enable informed decision-making and successful delivery.
You’ll have oversight of around 45 projects per year, some of which involve working with our parent company SHV to govern the portfolio, giving this role a unique global aspect and exposure across many business areas.
What You’ll Do
- Establish and manage PMO processes, governance, and standards to support the Elevate transformation programme.
 - Oversee the portfolio of c.45 projects, ensuring consistent reporting, governance, and documentation.
 - Provide visibility and insight into project performance through McKinsey Wave, our portfolio management platform, tracking milestones, delivery dates, KPIs, risks, and issues.
 - Ensure compliance with PRINCE2 methodology and Calor’s project management standards.
 - Champion standardisation across the business, ensuring all projects are well-documented with clear governance and accountability.
 - Produce regular reporting and dashboards for senior stakeholders across Calor and SHV.
 - Support project managers with guidance and coaching on best practices and governance expectations.
 - Work collaboratively across all business areas (excluding Engineering, which operates its own project framework) to drive continuous improvement in project delivery.
 
- Proven experience in a PMO or project governance role, ideally supporting multiple projects or programmes.
 - Strong understanding of project and programme management frameworks PRINCE2 essential; Agile and MSP experience advantageous.
 - Skilled in project reporting, risk management, and documentation control.
 - Proficient in using project management systems and tools (experience with McKinsey Wave would be a plus).
 - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence across all levels of the organisation.
 - Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 - Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently while building strong relationships across teams.
