Position Summary


To support the Plant Controller in all areas of Operational Finance.


Responsibilities


  • Month End Closing including
  • Balance Sheet Recs
  • Journals (Accrual, Prepayment, Stock, Depreciation, etc.)
  • General Analysis and Reconciliations


  • Inventory Counts, control and investigation
  • Raw Material
  • WIP
  • Third Party Warehouse
  • MRO
  • Consignment


  • Regular Reporting
  • KPIs
  • Scrap and Obsolescence
  • Plant Costs v Budget / Forecast
  • Fixed Asset and Capex Reporting


  • Support for Budget & Forecast
  • Support with Audits – External and Internal (inc. Sox)


What we are looking for


Knowledge and Experience

  • Part or newly qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • FMCG / Manufacturing experience essential
  • Proficient use of Microsoft packages
  • Previous experience of SAP is desirable
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to present financial information to others from non-financial backgrounds
