Personal Assistant to Managing Director

About The Role
We seek an exceptional Personal Assistant to the Managing Director of our South Home Counties region.
Your responsibilities will encompass all administrative duties, ensuring the seamless execution of day-to-day tasks supporting of the Managing Director and the wider Senior Management Team.
Responsibilities:
- Diary management
- Facilitate travel, transport and accommodation arrangements
- Monitor and review the Managing Director's emails, sorting, prioritising, and responding as/when necessary
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including issuing agendas, minute taking, booking meeting rooms and venues, providing refreshments, and catering arrangements
- Attend all board meetings, assisting with collating board packs and typing and distributing associated minutes, circulating any communication to the region as necessary
- Typing, copying, and distributing correspondence and reports
- Office management
- Co-ordinate regional events and external hospitality
- Assisting with reception duties
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5:15pm, Friday 8:30am-4pm (Please note: this is a fully-office based role)
This is a Fixed-Term appointment for Maternity Cover.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should possess proven experience in a similar position, demonstrating proficiency in handling a demanding workload. Your ability to consistently stay one step ahead, coupled with a commitment to providing outstanding support wherever needed, will be key to your success in this dynamic position.
You should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role supporting Director level
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task, working under pressure and to deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Packages
- Professional and able to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
