Responsibilities

  • Professional problem solver. Expert level communicator. Impeccable organiser. These are just a few attributes of a WSP Personal Assistant.
  • Responsible for providing professional administrative and business support to multiple Directors across WSP, this is an exciting and varied role.
  • There is really no such thing as an average day for a WSP PA but as a snapshot, some of your typical tasks might include (but are not restricted to);
    • Supporting Directors working on complex and at times, sensitive projects. Directors will change as projects progress.
    • Ability to coordinate clients and multiple Directors
    • Diary management across multiple time zones
    • International and domestic travel booking
    • Project management
    • Meeting and event co-ordination
    • Internal communications
    • Purchases and expenses
    • Preparation of presentations; marketing materials; reports
    • Demonstrate the utmost levels of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information
    • HR tasks – onboarding and inductions.
  • You will gain invaluable insight and experience of working for one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms and will work with internal stakeholders across our many and varied different functions.
YOUR TEAM

  • With clearly defined career pathways and exciting opportunities to develop, the team is made up of Business Support Partners (BSPs), Personal Assistants (PAs), Business Support including travel and accessibility specialists, Graphics and Concierge. As a PA, you will report to the Business Support Partner.
  • You will be able to meet your colleagues, share tips and best practice, proactively contribute to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment, and get involved in new initiatives and ideas.
  • Depending on your Directors and their individual requirements, you will be expected to work from the office 3 days per week, with the opportunity to work from home for 2 days a week.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a personal assistant
  • This role is subject to UK Security Vetting and successful applicants must be able to satisfy the criteria for Security Clearance with no restrictions applied.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Fully conversant to an advanced level in Microsoft 365, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Have excellent prioritisation skills,
  • Have experience in a similar role,
  • Be very comfortable using your own initiative,
  • Have the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other colleagues
