In this role you’ll work closely with the WINEP (Water Industry National Environment Project) Networks Lead and Environmental Manager to ensure the successful delivery of evidence-based documentation required for our AMP8 WINEP CSO and Environment Act commitments. It is a key position within the team, responsible for tracking interim milestones and price control deliverables to provide our regulators, Ofwat and the Environment Agency, with clear visibility of our progress against WINEP CSO targets.
You’ll undertake data analysis across our programme of works at asset, area, and company levels, supporting the Business Lead and wider teams in monitoring the performance of our WINEP CSO investigation and improvement initiatives.
Key Accountabilities Include
You’ll have strong experience in data analysis, and presenting findings. You’ll be confident in creating Power BI systems and reports, embedding new processes and procedures into business-as-usual operations. Experience in preparing monthly performance reports using a range of data sources, including where information may be conflicting, is also essential. As well as this, excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships and trust across the business.
A qualification in a relevant Engineering, Data/Computer Science, Environmental discipline, or equivalent experience, would be desirable.

- Produce programme reports on overflow investigations and improvements, aligned with regulatory and price control commitments.
- Maintain and develop evidence documentation and alteration request trackers.
- Deliver insightful analysis to identify potential risks to the investigation and improvement programme.
- Challenge performance and support key operational areas such as strategy and finance.
- Use programme data to extract lessons learned and inform PR29 business plan development.
