People & Culture Generalist – UK/EU
Location: Stone, Staffordshire Hybrid working, 2 days a week in our Stone Office)

Why are we hiring a People & Culture Generalist? We are hiring a P&C Generalist to assist us as we build for the future! You will be joining a high performing, established team that will support you as you continue to grow and learn at Instem.
The P&C Generalist will act as point of contact for all UK and Europe employees, handling all employment-related inquiries from employees, and people managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

The P&C Generalist will act as point of contact for all UK and Europe employees, handling all employment-related inquiries from employees, and people managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
What to expect?
- Provide new hire orientation and ensure probation periods complete and managers have documented probationary reviews.
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
- Maintain compliance and submit mandatory reporting with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to ensure compliance.
- Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Prepare and maintain the Employee Handbooks for each country in the region.
- Assist with global People & Culture initiatives and administration.
- Maintain electronic personnel files.
- Administer and/or assist with payroll as needed.
- Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure all work is handled securely, professionally, and diligently.
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally, in relevant subject or similar equivalent experience
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly accountable and resourceful.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
