Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)

Location: Alderley Edge

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

We are currently looking for a People Administrator to join the Royal London People Function on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role will be based in Alderley Edge.

About The Role

As a People Administrator, you will provide administration and co-ordination support for the Group People Function in line with priorities and key activity across the Function.

Reporting into the People Business Manager you will regularly engage with your people team colleagues and internal stakeholders across the business to provide administration support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day function activities, including budget management, raising requisitions, and supporting the senior leadership team through end of year processes.
  • Assist on the coordination and planning for all People activities, meetings and events including monitoring and maintenance throughout the year.
  • Provide a range of administration support for the Senior leadership team, building a good working knowledge of the Royal London people process and practices.

Criteria

  • Broad range of knowledge and experience gained through working within an administration role understanding confidentiality and privacy.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written, numerical and within a presentation format.
  • Expertise in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience in Oracle or other budget management systems would be advantageous.
  • Good organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
