Are you looking for an opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills within pelvic health?
Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust has been selected, as 1 of only 14 trusts in the country, to work with NHS England & Improvement to set up a new Perinatal Pelvic Health Service. As a result, our Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team is growing and we are looking for a physiotherapist to join our team on a fixed term basis for 12 months. This post will be based at Wexham Park Hospital.
Main duties of the job
We have a growing team of experienced physiotherapists and assistant practitioners who provide an evidence based service. Advanced Practice Physiotherapists in the team provide expert advice and support. We have a well structured in-service training schedule with Frimley Health colleagues from Wexham Park Hospital. The service is expanding but the caseload will include 1:1 appointments and a range of virtual and in person groups and workshops with patients. There may be opportunities to supervise other staff and take on students.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
- To provide an effective, high quality physiotherapy service to outpatients in the specialty of Pelvic Health.
- To undertake specialist physiotherapeutic assessment, clinical diagnosis, and treatment of patient with Pelvic Health problems. These patients may have complex and/or chronic presentations.
- To supervise and teach recently qualified physiotherapists/technicians/assistants and students and be involved in teaching MDT staff.
- To participate in CPD and other departmental activities.

Essential criteria
- BSc Physiotherapy
- Evidence of recent and relevant study in clinical area
- Member of POGP
- Student educator training/experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of supervising/appraising other staff
- Able to present information to a group
- Experience of delivering physiotherapy virtually
Essential criteria
- Completion of B5 NHS rotations including MSK
- Experience of carrying out an audit
- Experience of Pelvic Health Physiotherapy at B5 or B6 level
