Payroll Manager

We’re seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple PAYE schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accurate and timely payroll processing for 1600+ employees (weekly & salaried).
• Supervise and develop a dedicated payroll team.
• Ensure full compliance with all payroll-related legislation, tax rules, and audit requirements.
• Liaise with HMRC and handle queries related to PAYE, CIS, BIK, etc.
• Partner closely with HR and Finance to align payroll with compensation, benefits, and reporting needs.
• Lead payroll audits and ensure robust controls are embedded.
• Continuously monitor and respond to changes in legislation, driving system and policy updates.
• Own and evolve KPI reporting, using data to improve performance.
• Lead or support projects across HR, payroll, and employee benefits.
