About The Job
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Payroll team on a 9-month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll support the Payroll Team Leaders to ensure that all payrolls within cardfactory are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
This is a hybrid role with up to 2 days per week in our Wakefield Head Office.
You’ll also support with new starters, changes to employee details, leavers, statutory records, and absence tracking. You’ll be reviewing employee records to make sure everyone is set up correctly with the right contract type, hours, pay rate and job title, and you’ll play a key part in keeping our data accurate and up to date in line with company standards and legislation.
You’ll be working closely with our Payroll Team Leaders to coordinate payrolls, run reports, and support month-end processes. You’ll also help ensure everything is reconciled properly and that pension auto-enrolment and RTI files are submitted on time. When needed, you’ll be there to support our Payroll Administrator too.
We’re looking for someone who’s had experience in a payroll processing environment and who brings excellent attention to detail. You’ll be quick to learn new systems and confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel – if you know your way around VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, even better! You’ll enjoy working as part of a team and be happy to support others, whether that’s in person or virtually. If you’re a strong multi-tasker who can manage several things at once and work proactively with minimal supervision, we’d love to hear from you.
