Salary: £34,000–£38,000 depending on experience

About The Role
You’ll be supporting the Payroll Manager in overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, managing data analysis and reporting, and helping to drive continuous improvements in payroll operations. Person Specification
Experience & Skills
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Payroll department, with comprehensive exposure to all key responsibilities
- Payroll Specialist Certificate Foundation Degree in Payroll Management (CIPP)
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex payroll information clearly across all levels
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Experience with Iris Earnie or Zellis payroll software is highly desirable
- Strong presentation skills, capable of delivering clear and persuasive updates
- Demonstrated ability in financial and payroll data analysis, identifying trends and anomalies
- Skilled in data monitoring and documentation, with a focus on improving reporting processes
- Resilient, adaptable and able to perform well under pressure
- A team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic
- Capable of motivating and supporting colleagues in a collaborative environment
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable, as some travel may be required for audits and meetings
