Description
- Manage client accounts, including reconciliations and payment allocations.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding account queries.
- Monitor compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation as required.
- Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
A Successful Payments & Reconciliation Assistant Should Have
- Experience or educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.
- Competitive salary ranging from £28000 to £33000 per annum.
