We are now looking for a Parts Advisor to join the team at our Volvo dealership in Hessle, Hull. We offer full-time hours and a competitive salary (subject to experience).

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

Using your excellent skills, experience, and motivation you will deliver an outstanding service to the business and all of its customers.

You will be responsible for sourcing and supplying parts to our workshop, retail and trade customers whilst also ensuring the smooth running of the parts department on a day to day basis.

Your ability to problem solve whilst keeping calm under pressure in a fast-paced customer focused environment will be key.

Day-to-day duties

  • Identifying parts required for vehicles using manufacturer parts catalogues
  • Ordering parts from internal and external sources
  • Picking and packing parts for internal, retail and trade customers
  • Communicating with and supporting the workshop
  • Providing a quick and accurate service to our customers
  • Invoicing and return handling
  • Reviewing digital communications for customers
  • Stock control

You’ll Do This By:

  • Been target driven
  • Concern for standards
  • Flexibility
  • Working in a team but also individually
  • Providing outstanding customer service
  • Basic IT literate
  • Driving Licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings
