Part Time Mental Health Support Worker

Our client, a respected support and housing provider in West Yorkshire, is looking for dedicated and compassionate Recovery Support Workers to join their team on a temporary basis.

You will play a vital role in supporting individuals across the local area, delivering one-to-one and group-based support, and helping clients achieve their goals and aspirations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting individuals with mental health needs through recovery-focused plans.
• Delivering therapeutic groups, courses, and activities.
• Carrying a caseload of clients and working collaboratively with statutory and voluntary services.
• Encouraging and empowering clients to shape their own recovery journey.
• Facilitating planned move-on support and appropriate pathways.
• Contributing to the development of services through project work and co-production.
  
  

What we're looking for:

• Experience in mental health support
• Ability to build positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Good understanding of evidence-based approaches to mental health and recovery.
• Skills in facilitating groups and developing support plans.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
• Commitment to equality, diversity, and anti-racism.
• A UK driving licence and access to a car
