Job Description

Are you looking to start a career in the aerospace industry? Join our dynamic team as a Clean and Paint Strip Operator, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare components for processing by cleaning, masking, and applying pre-coating masking techniques.

Utilize hand stripping chemicals and techniques to prepare aerospace components for further processing.

Operate plastic media blasting equipment to effectively clean and strip surfaces.

Employ high-pressure water blasting methods for thorough cleaning of components.

Locally clean components to minimize environmental impact and uphold safety protocols.

Collaborate with senior staff to monitor equipment, maintain cleanliness, and ensure quality control standards are met.

Maintain accurate records of processes and materials used to comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Engage in problem-solving and think outside the box to overcome challenges that may arise during the cleaning process.

Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge of Cleaning and Stripping processes and techniques.

Qualifications

No prior experience required; however, it is preferred but not essential. We welcome candidates eager to learn and grow in the aerospace field.

A willingness to learn and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality is essential.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset to tackle challenges effectively.

Attention to Detail - Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail to identify deviations from specifications.

The ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and able to work independently.

Basic understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.

Willingness to work safely in various environments that may involve exposure to chemicals and metalworking processes.

Capability to lift and handle materials and components weighing up to 25 kg.
