The Role
Ocado is looking for a Paid Social Manager to join our wonderful Paid Social team as a maternity cover.
As the Manager of the Paid Social stream, you will work closely with the Paid Social Executive and the Senior Paid Social Executive to help create award winning, highly innovative marketing campaigns to achieve our performance led goals. You are a team player who relishes a challenge and enjoys a fast-paced environment. You are able to juggle multiple tasks whilst demonstrating a passion for data, performance excellence, creative best practice and embody cross-team collaboration. You are constantly monitoring industry updates so that you are up to speed with the latest and greatest which you bring to work with you every day.
You’ll be able to work with our Martech Lead, our agency and our platform/s to further the Paid Social learning agenda for the year, ensuring we are challenging the art of the possible at all times so that we are always one step ahead.

What You'll Do
- Analyses and reporting – weekly, monthly and longer term performance insights
- Creative – prioritisation, best practice, organisation and co-ordination between Ocado and our agency
- Cross-channel and team creative strategy
- Establish a robust test & learn agenda
- Agency relationship and task management
- Platform partner ownership
- Platform scaling
- Ownership of channel econometrics performance
- Regular budget reforecasting
- QBRs & monthly performance reviews
- Performance improvement and scaling
- An understanding of profit bidding
- Audience management
- Line management and training of junior team members
- An autonomous, capable leader who is pro-active and possesses a start-up mentality
- Experience in managing and getting the best out of a team
- An interest in data and analytics
- Problem solver with a can-do attitude
- Strong levels of attention-to-detail
- An in depth, hands-on knowledge of platforms, namely: Meta (including Instagram), Pinterest, Snapchat and TikTok
- Experience with creative excellence and working with a creative team to help bring best practice to life
