You will be responsible for operational decisions at the line level to achieve targets and coordinate a team of Operators as required.
What are we looking for?
Minimum 1 Year Manufacturing Experience (Essential)
Proven hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
Technical Skills: Mechanical training or background (Desirable)
Microsoft Outlook & Excel Proficiency
Competent in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel for communication, reporting, and data analysis.
Team Leadership/Coordination (Desirable)
Experience in leading or coordinating small teams of associates is highly valued.
Experience in FMCG / High-speed production or transferable mechanical process skills from a similar environment (Desirable)
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in teams, sharing insights and collaborating on improvements
What would be your key responsibilities?
Lead first-line maintenance for multiple production machines, making operational decisions to meet production targets.
Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns using appropriate tools and methods to identify root causes.
Take ownership of the performance and reliability of several machines, processes, or equipment.
Coordinate, coach and support a small team of operators and temporary associates to ensure line targets are consistently achieved.

Operator (Weekends) - Mars Wrigley

- Salary: £30,800 (pro-rated 29 hrs and inclusive of shift allowance)
- Performance related company bonus
- Hours: 29 per week
- Shifts: 24-hour Weekend shift Sat/Sun (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) + 5 hours during the week (flexible).
