Job Description

This is a varied role with plenty of opportunity for growth and development within an experienced team. You'll be working within a busy port-based terminal environment, carrying out a number of different tasks each day.

Responsibilities

  • Load trucks
  • Work on the jetty
  • Conduct stock control using manual tank dipping
  • Operate heavy machinery such as Fork Lift Trucks
  • Enter tanks (confined space work)
  • Use the terminal's automation systems
  • Respond to emergencies
  • Housekeeping duties
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements
  • Work well within the team
  • Be flexible with working hours
  • Report any issues to line supervision


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an operator role preferred
  • Valid Fork Lift Truck license
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Team player
  • Flexible approach to working hours
