Evolito’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric propulsion in aerospace applications in support of a net-zero world. We will help to revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free air transportation.
Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation.
As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.
As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the Production, Logistics and Quality Inspection teams to create a safe and engaging production environment and drive the production team to deliver our products on quality, cost and time.

Key accountabilities / responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the entire production remit including Production, Stores and Logistics, Quality Inspection
- Planning and organising production schedules with the logistics team
- Drive cost awareness and achieve cost targets to drive business growth
- Deliver our products in a timely manner to help build customer confidence
- Provide and maintain a safe working environment for the Operations Team
- Putting appropriate actions/measures in place to ensure business targets are met adapting where necessary to meet expectations
- Define and develop processes and systems to enable consistent delivery of your targets
- Ensure quality standards for our products are maintained and improved consistently
- Develop a motivated capable team that displays a ‘can do’ approach
- Interface with integrated support functions at the working level
- Carry out regular process confirmation of the business area including functional activities to drive and maintain standards.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent qualifications
- Experience in a dynamic fast paced tier 1 manufacturing environment
- Sound understanding of Lean Working Methodologies
- Team Management experience
- Demonstrated track record in an electro/mechanical engineering environment
- Instinctive problem-solving skills coupled with a sound analytical approach
- A 'self-starter' attitude with energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a growing business and autonomous environment
- Ability to manage conflicting demands against tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A flexible approach to work with UK driving license and ability to travel
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to run and monitor the production process
- Ability to support and plan for future opportunities/volumes, while having the ability to manage teams on a day-to-day basis.
