Mind

Date: 1 week ago
City: Cardiff
Contract type: Full time
About The Team

We have big goals over the next few years.

We're going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before.

Together we'll be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.

Team information

Will you join us?

We are led by the experiences, priorities, and aspirations of people with mental health problems in Wales. We use these insights to change Welsh policy, reduce stigma, and provide life-changing support at a national and local level.

We also provide strategic direction, insight and support to the rest of Mind so that our work in Wales is effective - building our reputation and trust so we can fund and deliver Mind's strategic ambitions in Wales.

Mind Cymru is the team that supports Mind's work in Wales.

Wales has a devolved government and a distinctive culture, which means that the environment in which we deliver programmes is different to England. We have our own jurisdiction over health, social care, education and housing.

There are other differences too. For example, NHS Wales is separate to NHS England.
