About The Role

Working Mon - Fri, 08:00 -17:00, we'll need you to handle customers enquiries along with the planning of loads and routing of delivery vehicles. Problem solving, combined with a keen eye for detail are an essential part of this role. Excellent communication skills and telephone manner are crucial as you will be tasked with maintaining strong relationships with or customers, ensuring their queries are answered and resolved in an appropriate manner. With deadlines to meet, it is key that you can prioritise the workload, ensuring the correct information and data is entered into our internal systems.

You Will Be Responsible For

Tracking vehicles

Dealing with loading and unloading issues at collection and delivery points as well as in depot

Ensure timely and accurate completion of all paperwork relevant to the department

Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships

We are looking for a good team player with excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer orientation and commercial awareness, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. While knowledge of transport operations is advantageous, it is not essential. The ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Due to the nature of the industry and departmental requirements, the individual must be willing and able to work shifts if required. Our team is outgoing and bubbly, and we are excited to be moving to a new site at the start of 2025.
