We are seeking a proactive Operations Support Specialist to become part of our Partner Assurance Team in Chelmsford!

The Partner Assurance Team plays a vital role in onboarding new trading partners, managing agreements, governing trading relationships, and handling complaints. As part of the Operations function, the team is a key player in Gallagher’s “first line of defence” within our three-tier governance framework.

In this position, you will play a key role in aiding the team, guaranteeing the timely provision of services to clients within and beyond the organisation. You'll advocate for guidelines, improve processes, and support the ongoing improvement of our operations. This is a varied and dynamic role where you’ll have the chance to create a real impact.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Deputise for the Operations Manager in meetings and projects.
  • Provide operational support to the four teams within Partner Assurance.
  • Coordinate processes managed by the Gallagher Centre of Excellence (GCoE), including MI/data analysis, quality assurance, and process transfers.
  • Use MI and data to identify areas for improvement, resource planning, and forecasting.
  • Ensure all processes are detailed, adhered to, and kept up to date.
  • Maintain and improve contract records and reporting capabilities.
  • Find opportunities to automate and improve existing processes.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-team matters, encouraging a "one team" mentality.
  • Act on feedback from collaborators to improve service quality.
  • Support projects involving regulatory changes, internal process updates, and mergers/acquisitions.
  • Establish and maintain positive connections with internal and external collaborators.
  • Stay informed about the UK regulatory framework that is relevant to your position.

About You

  • Knowledge of trading partners within the insurance industry (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
  • Ability to handle large and complex workloads.
  • Quick learner with the ability to deliver high-quality results within tight timeframes.
  • Practical problem-solver with a hands-on approach to achieving business outcomes.
  • Strategic problem solver who considers the bigger picture and takes a proactive approach.
  • Self-starter who works well independently but knows when to seek support.
  • Committed to encouraging a positive business culture and behaviours.
