About The Role


The Operational Support Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the smooth and effective delivery of our Environmental Claims Management services. You will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative, logistical, and customer service support to the operational team, helping to coordinate field activities, manage job records and documentation, and ensure client and stakeholder needs are met in a timely and professional manner.


Working hours are Monday to Friday, including 30-minute lunch break.



Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain and update job management systems with accurate project information
  • Attain quotes from suppliers, place orders and reconcile costs.
  • Fleet management.
  • Act as a point of contact with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Work closely with the Regional Managers, Contracts Managers, Consultants, and site teams to ensure efficient delivery of services.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks comply with company policies, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and secure records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Assist with stock control, supply ordering, and maintenance of asset registers.
  • Booking overnight accommodation for site teams and management as required.
  • Weekly monitoring of hire reports, liaising with management, and off-hiring of plant and equipment as required.
  • Checking and uploading timesheets to company server.
  • Collaborate towards business improvement projects with the Regional Managers.
  • Assist with facilities management of company assets.



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


Essential Requirements


  • Experience in an administrative or operational support role
  • Excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload under pressure


Desirable


  • Experience within the construction / contracting industries



Salary and Benefits


We offer a competitive salary from £17,500 to £21,000 per annum (dependant on contracted hours) and provide a comprehensive range of benefits including:
