Hayley Group Limited are looking for an Onsite Support (Warehouse/Buyer) to join our well-established and experienced team at our Newport branch, but the role will be based onsite and split between two locations, Swansea and Llantrisant. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

Hayley Group is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (bearings, fasteners, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK. Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities for Onsite Support (Warehouse/Buyer) will include:

  • First point of contact for all enquiries from the customer.
  • Identify items and assist engineers that are required onsite.
  • Occasional collection of goods from local suppliers.
  • Process Sales orders.
  • Place purchase orders.
  • Identify + log cost saving opportunities.
  • Monitor KPI’s and liaise with account manager.
  • Stock check and replenish consignment stock items.
  • General stores work.
  • Adhere to site Health & Safety rules and policies.

Skills & Attributes we’re looking for in our Onsite Support (Warehouse/Buyer):

  • Full driving licence is essential as company van provided.
  • Experience in a similar inventory/stock control role is desirable.
  • Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Good level of communication and numerical skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and time management.
  • A basic understanding of a sales environment would be useful.
