This is a Fixed Term opportunity to join PCG at an exciting time. Thanks to the incredible work of our teams and the progress of our young people, we're moving toward Ofsted registration across several of our services.
Based primarily between our service in Horsham and our head office in Gloucestershire, regular travel to the North East will be required to support our services within the region. Due to this, you must have access to a car and be comfortable with regular travel.
As Osted Lead you will be responsible for ensuring that all services meet and exceed Ofsted's regulatory standards, supporting the organisation in delivering outstanding care to children and young people. You'll coach and mentor our registered managers through the registration process and be a true expert in all aspects of Ofsted and the registration process.

Responsibilities will also include:
- Lead in the setting up and registration new of Children Homes in line with Children's Homes regulations and the Quality Standards. Ensuring compliance and Ofsted Standards. Supporting new services country wide as the company grows.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and guidance, ensuring changes are implemented effectively across services and your team are fully aware and given direction
- Acting as a role model, embedding a trauma informed and love led approach to care. Ensuring the ethos of PGC is actively promoted
- Provide training and mentorship for both Registered Managers and managers within the unregulated provisions to support their progression into a regulated service
- Support in the development of the service to ensure quality care, effective planning to monitor progression of young people
Requirements for a successful Ofsted Lead:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar senior compliance role
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Must be able to travel to the services {anywhere in the country} and be flexible with working hours. There will often be requirements to operate outside of the normal working day
- Understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic approaches
- Proven experience in managing or supporting services regulated by Ofsted, preferably within a children's residential care setting
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, and Quality Standards
