Tadley Court School are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, caring and passionate Occupational Therapist to become an integral part of our therapy team.

The successful candidate will be HCPC-registered and a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT). They must also hold a BSc in Occupational Therapy, or an equivalent professional qualification.

You will join our supportive multi-disciplinary therapy and broader education team. This position could suit someone experienced in a special needs environment but, equally, due to the support from the rest of the team it could suit someone newly qualified with a real interest in working in an SEN environment who would be willing to undertake sensory integration training and qualification which would be funded by Aspris.

Reporting to our school SENCO you will assess, develop and deliver programmes, monitor progress and compile reports. You will also be required to support staff with strategies for the classroom and beyond. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the education team, parent and carers and other professionals and will support building our universal provision, helping to create a sensory -friendly environment

Tadley Court School is a special school with an Ofsted rating of GOOD. Our school is set in a beautiful semi-rural location with four acres of well-maintained grounds. We are a day school specialising in the education and care of up to 89 children and young people between the age of 4 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit behaviours which challenge associated with their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.
